Just great. Now were going to be ordered to leave any survivalist militias we're in.
It’s ok, you can join mine. We don’t keep any active directories.
The Mountie statement said “forcibly take possession of land in the Québec City area” …

WAG, a la Jeopardy - “What is the Citadelle, Alex?”
Those 4? Nope something like this probably …

Hey the 51st State isn’t just going to make itself…

In seriousness, I’m guessing power plant and/or armory.

I’m unimpressed with the size of the ‘arsenal’ though. That’s rookie numbers.

The explosives should be interesting.

I wonder if its Tannerite ?

Tiny little nugget near the bottom of the presser mentioned a criminal charge under the Defence Production Act. I’d love to know more about that just because of how unusual that is. Controlled goods related I guess?
CAF ammunition and/or explosives, I am guessing.

The reporting this morning is starting to sound more like a Monty Python skit vice anything serious.

Still, nail these clowns to the wall, but geez, a little perspective is needed.

What article(s)?

Tannerite or some kind of homemade pipe bomb is my guess.

Like Kevin, I'm unimpressed by the firearms overall. Looked like a lot of basic long guns, and a few pistols, some of which I suspect are .22LR.

The guys liked their tacticool kit, so I'm guessing a lot is more show than go.

You should watch CBC...
I don't even tune into the CBC broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada; I go to Sportsnet for that (I know, same broadcast, but it's the principle of the thing...)

Further, I don't watch the intermission stuff. Not as long as Ron MacLean is on it. David Amber and Elliotte Friedman are good. But the rest can sod off. Especially Jennifer Botterill. Not because she's a woman, but because she's junk, IMO.

Contrast her to Kate Beirness on TSN for its CFL coverage. She's a great host and is way ahead of Botterill. And Hrudey. And MacLean.

Now, I need to log off and go yell at a cloud. ;)
