Decals are done (mostly) and I've started adding detail bits around the edge of the flight deck.

Had to leave the model in the garage for most of the winter - and it was too cool to effectively seal the decals down with a clear coat.

The first layer of that got applied today.

If you'd like to see her in person, I should have her out at the annual Shearwater Hobby show in a couple of weeks.

Just two small comments if I may, NS: The deck of ships (or carriers) should be mate, not glossy. Also, the "22" seems much larger in proportion than the one that was marked on Bonnie.

The number came with the decal set - the 22 on the forward part of the flight deck was removed early in the ship's career supposedly due to the number paint being slippery compared to the rest of the non-skid. As for the gloss vs matt finish - I have a can of matt clear coat that will be added last - probably on coat #3.
