Hi folks,
I'm thinking about re-enlisting in a NAVRES unit after a few years out of the reg force. How can I go about getting a list of my time served at sea or in ships to take to the RC/NAVRES unit? Is this info required? I have some of my "old" certificates/documents/etc but I am unsure what all I can or should bring to the table.

Many thanks,
  VI

You can try visiting their OR and with your Service Number, they should be able to pull up your MPRR.  You will likely have to have all of your PERs, Crse Reports, etc. in hand so that you can keep your qualifications and perhaps rank.  You will have to have these when you apply at the NAVRES unit, and at the CFRC where you will have to do up all your enrollment docs and application.  You may have to use the Freedom of Information Act to get those docs, and you will likely have to complete a Prior Learning Assessment to keep your qualifications and perhaps rank.  Depending on how long you have been out, you may have to do a BMQ.  These are all things you can discuss and confirm with the Unit and CFRC Recruiters.

If you haven't been out very long, couple of years, the RC will be able to pull up your MPRR. You no longer need your whole pers file to re-enrol. Also they will have to see what your release item was to make sure you can re-enrol.
