I was wondering how secure full-time employment is. sorry i searched it up but cudn't find anything and i'm in a heated argument on how secure the full time employment is. So when you join full time and sign the contract is the government allowed to fire or deport you from the army  because of  budget cut backs.

If you are asking "would the military ever see wide-spread layoffs?", the answer is no, that scenario is extremely unlikely. If the Government chose to reduce the size of the military, it is likely that past examples would be followed - allowing for normal attrition combined with selected reductions of specific trades by buying people out with golden handshakes.

If a guy is a total screw-up he won't be offered a second contract.  That's really rare though.
