The story is short and straight forward,

I applied last year for ROTP, didn't get in because the medical information was late getting to them. It was quite disappointing, but I'm over it and I'm applying for DEO.

What forms do I need to fill out, and which ones do I not have to worry about, or do I have to fill them all out again?

My plan is to be an Engineering Officer, my grades are less than grand, and I'm applying with a physics degree, which I've been told isn't a problem... How much do grades actually matter when it comes to being accepted?

Finally, I'm graduating in May of 2011, assuming I don't fail any of my courses. When should I get my application in by? A recruiter said something about  Christmas, but that was months ago so i don't remember much beyond that.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated

Blake

You file would most likely have been closed so you'll need to fill out all the forms again. On the up side if you did the CFAT and scored high enough for the occupation you want you won't have to rewrite it.

Good luck.

I know I didn't have to write the aptitude test again, and I'd need to do another interview / medical exam. But thanks for the information, both of you.

I am still slightly concerned about my grades, are they a deal breaker?

If there's only 1 spot, and both people are applying DEO and have the exact same degree, life experience, but you have lower grades, it may be a deal breaker. Grades are less of a concern since you'll already have your degree.

If you do get a DEO spot, they may offer you that spot conditionally on your completion of the degree.
