I forgot this thread was around.  Good place to post the fact that IT SNOWED IN NORTH BAY YESTERDAY  :o  Only good thing about that was the fact that I was far away on the west coast.

And that would be reason number 762 why I left North Bay....town is a hole (pun intended)

We just had our warmest May ever here in Melbourne. Every day was above 20C. One town in Queensland (I forget the name) didn't get below 30C. And it was the last month before Autumn! I'm headed over to Petawawa in August, am hoping it isn't too cold there...

It was quite a sight, seeing snow in June. Didn't stay around, the ground was too warm. The Radio said the temperature went down to 0.2oC, which broke the old record of 0.6oC, Broke the record for the most snowfall on a June 5th and broke the record  for the most snow in June ever.Today there was a cool wind, but it was much warmer.

Freak weather is always fun.

But things like this shouldn't be used as proof of either global warming or that global warming isn't a reality; honestly this is just freaky/random weather, which is bound to happen thanks to statistical probability.

There are clear indications that we're screwing the environment and pumping way too many greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Want to know where our flooding in the rivers is coming from?  This two storey structure is the rescue hut at the top of Kildala Pass on the transmission line from Kemano to Kitimat.  Picture, approx late April early May of this year.

I don't believe it. See my earlier post for the 'Mythbusters' point of view.
