Reg Force Armoured Recce

I'm a very junior member of a Reserve Armoured Recce Unit, possessing only a few (7) months experience, but have had a very exciting and enjoyable time so far. I'm thinking about going Reg force Armoured Recce since this university thing isn't working out and I'm looking for some info. I've had limited experience with Reg Force units, but have had the chance to look at a Coyote and speak with its crew during ARCON 04. I'm hoping to get posted to RCD if I go but I'm pretty sure thats not my decision. I want to know about training, physical fitness, deployments, all the newbie stuff, lol. Any help would be much appreciated.

Talk to your RSS NCOs and Officer.  There are members of the PEIR who have served with the Regs, on call out or as a Reg.  If MWO Corney is still around, talk to him.  Check things out if you have the chance to go to Gagetown.  If you are a member of the PEIR Assoc. ask some of the guys there who have been in the Reg Force as RCD, Strats, or Hussars.

Sorry Dave went back to the school a couple of years ago. I think he is the SSM of the old TSS.
