REserve force or reg force

Are the duties different for the the different types of forces

i have a friend who is Combat engineer in the reserves would i have the same duties as on in the regular force?

and do a search there, and here, before posting a question like that.

In short, the reserves are trained to do everything the regular force do, give or take a few minor performance objectives here and there.
