Ripsaw Bought by Sweden

Canada's Tanks, Future Armour, Armoured Recce, Medium Cavalry or even Artillery....

Sweden has purchased the Ripsaw autonomous vehicle.
When I saw the picture in the Defense Post I bwas struck by similarities to the 1960s Swedish S-Tank, the S-103, sometimes a tank, sometimes a tank-destroyer, sometimes an assault gun, sometimes close support field artillery.
I wonder if the Swedes are contemplating putting the autoloading 105mm L7 of the S-103 on the back of Ripsaw.

It would make both an effective anti-tank system and a line breaker to accompany autonmous/RC engineering vehicles.

Logistics seems to be the prime motivator but this article suggests the Ripsaw might be overkill in that regard. I still think it could be a worthwhile platform for a DFS or LAA system, something that could relocate rapidly within a well-defined defended locale.

"And this is quite a large (and probably quite expensive) UGV with a mass of about 5,900 kg and the ability to transport cargo weighing over 2,200 kg, while its maximum speed reaches 48 km/h.

"Today, Ukraine's Defense Forces are increasingly using UGVs for logistics and evacuating wounded, however, we're talking about much smaller platforms and, one can assume, times or even dozens of times cheaper.

"Therefore, how practical it is to equip an army with such large platforms as Ripsaw M3, not to mention the 10-ton M5, is a very big question, considering that for the same funds one can purchase a significantly larger number of smaller platforms, which are often expendable material given their vulnerability to FPV drones."
