Did anyone else notice this on the SPACECAST page about the Series?

As well, Tobey Maguire and Warner Bros. plan to make a new film based on the anime series.

All I can say is;  SWEET!

If it has the effects budget of the Transformers and a decent story line... jeez... this could become an awesome series of movies.

You lucky dog you! I only have the complete 1st and 3rd Sagas on DVD- I only have a few of the Southern Cross episodes on DVD- oh well.

Anyways, does anyone here know if the makers of the new Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles have made a sequel to the pilot movie and if when the next new movie/series will come out? I thought the movie was alright, although it was open-ended about what will happen to Admiral Hunter and the SDF-3.

Someone had better keep the news of this series a secret from FutureSoldier/Braveheart, lest he starts posting that we should have a transformable battlefortress as well.   : ;D

No news on a new series, only that a movie is planned for 2010 that is all I have heard/can find out.
