Good day,

I am applying for ROTP Nursing Officer, and I am wondering which schools and programs would be acceptable.  I have an undergraduate degree and the accelerated second entry nursing programs are preferable as the program length is shorter (2 years).  However, the second entry programs do not have summers and are 6 four month terms back to back.  The 4 year nursing program (no summer courses) I have been accepted to is a collaborative nursing program at a college.  The 4 years of study is at Conestoga College, but the degree received is a Bachelors of Nursing from the University of McMaster.

I got offers of admission to both nursing school options, but I don't know which type I should be selecting.  Are 2 year accelerated nursing programs acceptable?  Will 4 year nursing programs at a college but receive a bachelors at a university be accepted?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hello z3r0

Thank you for your interest in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

It is suggested that you take a copy of your "offer of admission" for both programs to your local recruiting detachment. They will be able to indicate which program is suitable for your entry plan if you are selected.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
