I'd like to know if there're a lot of candidate this year in ROTP. I did my request for ROTP, the interview is done...All I have to do now is waiting for the results of the selection...And i'm really worried because i wonder if i'll be pick up or not...so is there someone working as a recruiting officer who could tell me if the competition is strong this year to be an engineer?

Thank you, Steven :D

My best advice is to go ask at the CFRC, tell them your situation and they should give you a no bull**** answer. Most of anything you would hear here would be conjecture or rumors. Good luck,

If you are applying for ROTP you are probably quite familiar with the "waiting game" as it were. You may just have to sit tight and wait. The recruiters may be able to give an opinion but it isn't them that decides; it is CFB Borden I believe. I waited from January (when I finished up my aptitude, interview, medical and all that fun stuff) until May before receiving an offer.

1.  Go into the CFRC.

2.  Ask how many applicants there were for 2006-07 academic year.

3.  Ask how many people were accepted for same.

4.  Ask how many positions there are for the 07-08 academic year.

5.  Extrapolate.
