I am getting ready for BMQ (and have been for a while.....) and I was wondering how far I should be able to run before BMQ?  I will obviously run as far as I can, and I think I should be running 10km near the end of this month/mid next month.  I am trying to get as physically fit as I possibly can (without injuring myself) since I am interested in applying for JTF2 after the required time served.  I still have 3 years to train, but it's never too early to start, so I was just wondering your opinions on what is a good distance to be running before going off to BMQ?  I know that the farther you can run the easier it will be, but just a general idea.....  Also, would anyone happen to know where BMQ for Reserves in Winnipeg takes place?  Would I be off to Shilo, or somewhere else?

Thanks! ;)

As for BMQ, you could find out the dates for the LFWA website but it doesn't necessarily mean there will be space available for your unit to send you there.  Your best bet is to go up the chain of command.
