SARS Virus, Accident or A BIO Attack?

Just curious, but what are the chances that the SARS epidemic was not just a freak new virus but some ones plan to cause havoc in the west? A Biological war of sorts? Is it totally out of the realm of possibility? Could it have been manufactured?

In the West? Statistics show that it‘s hammering Asia, where over 2/3 of the cases are. So if it‘s a bio attack on the West, it‘s failing badly.

Having said that, nobody knows exactly where it came from (evolution or engineering) so it‘s anyone‘s game. SARS could be a combination. Bio warfare research is still alive and well, though my "gut feeling" is this is a naturally evolving problem.

There was speculation by conspiracy theorists that it might be "leftover" bio experiments from Japanese occupation in WWII... seeing how Japan seems to be not very hard hit at all by the virus...
