Hi all i was wondering if i could get some help on looking up some old buddies of mine from when i was in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1985 through 1989.   I was stationed at C.F.B. Shilo Manitoba attached to U battery 3 RCHA Artillary Air Defense(Bird Gunners) i served in the regiment from Feb. of 86 to Jan. of 89.   My name is Dave nicknamed footloose or beef.   I am looking for guys the likes of Claude Savoy(nickname="Archie") he is from northern New Brunswick, Kevin Walker from Ottawa Ontario, Ron Baker from Newfoundland, Warren Pitch from Dauphin Manitoba, Mark Winters from Brandon Manitoba.   Most of all i would really like to get a hold of my best buddy Claude "Archie" Savoy, we haven't had any contact since i was honourably discharged in Jan. of 1989.   Archie, if you're out there please contact me buddy i miss you we have a lot of catching up to do   :warstory:...As far as i know "U" battery was moved to C.F.B. Chatham New Brunswick that's where a lot of these guys would have gone if they continued with their service after i got out.   Can anybody help me find these guys?

The guys in Chatham were 119 Bty & the AD Arty school.  A while back, maybe around '95, Chatham closed down and the guys were mostly posted to Gagetown.
I haven't seen any of those guys in years... but I can tell you that most of the AD are in 4 AD Regt (moncton & Gagetown) or the school in Gagetown.  There are small groups in 18 AD Regt Lethbridge, 1 AD Regt Pembroke and another unit in Quebec.
Good Luck,

Kevin Payne, ex AD gunner, 1 RCHA, 2RCHA, 1 AD Regt, 4 AD Regt, RCAS, AB Regt
