I was talking to my CFRC today and he said to phone back next week and they should have an offer for me.  This could mean to things, i think
A. he was trying to get rid of me
b. I got selected and have to wait for an official offer.

any thoughts

Yes I went through my entire application process hearing things like this all the time, its normal. One thing Ive learned is that when a RO gives you a time limit, tack on a month to that.
