Now they have the internet.
But, one can always change that channel, and watch and listen to the TV and radio shows you enjoy.
Read library books. Subscribe or cancel newspapers and magazines.

A City employee will not:
Use City resources, including facilities, equipment or supplies while engaging
in political activity.
Engage in political activity during working hours.
Engage in political activity while wearing City uniform.
Wear clothing or buttons that advertise any candidate, political party or referendum issue while at work or while wearing a City uniform.
Use their title or position within the City in a way that would lead a member
of the public to infer that the City is endorsing a candidate, political party or a
particular response to a referendum question.
