I emailed the guy warning him about posers and such. He emailed me back and said the got an offer for training

No food, no water, no equipment and no shoes or clothing except for briefs in the forests about five hours to the northwest of Ottawa."

I do not think  the guy  would have much background but thought maybe some one here might have a better offer or suggestion.

Really? Wow, one more serious person! 

He has to add at least one more zero to $300. Considering his expectations & requirements, I don't think any professional & wise instructor will accept his deal.

Nowadays anyone could post anything. Probably he is marketing himself online to get some attention.

I do not think 24 hours is much time to learn anything beyond how to make a shelter and a fire. No way  you can learn much else in 24 hours. I think he is going to get hurt or taken in by some poser and ripped off

Should just suggest he take $30 and go to Chapters and buy the SAS Survival Guide.
