No problemo. Mods, I guess you can lock this one up, unless someone wants to add a little more.

CFRC recruiters won't give you a straight answer or Unit recruiters won't give you a straight answer?

Why don't you just wait till you're completed all 16 credits? Do you really think a few months difference will change anything? Just finish your 16 credits then apply. The CF will always be there.

I am fairly certain you only need 15 Ontario high school credits.
I am also fairly certain if you use the search function from now on, you can find most if not all answers to your questions.
Cheers!  :salute:

As a unit recruiter (RHFC), I will give you a strait answer;
Minimum Requirements for Primary Reserves (there are no gray areas here):
- Must be a Canadian Citizen.  Must present original and official documentation to prove it; Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Citizenship Card, Canadian Passport.
- Must have no less than 15 Ontario High School credits (or equivalent from other province/country). Must present original and official TRANSCRIPT (nothing else will suffice) showing no less than 15 OHSCs (or equiv) to prove it;
- Must be no less than 16 years of age at time of application. Must present original and official documentation to prove it; Canadian Birth Certificate
- Must be free from any legal obligations (not facing charges, not heading to jail).

If you cannot meet ALL of these requirements, you cannot begin the application process.

Also keep in mind that just because you want to apply, doesn't necessarily mean they will be able to hire you.... Just a heads up.

To add to that, you can apply before you complete grade 10.  If you will be completing grade ten this spring/summer you can still go through the recruiting process but you will not be enrolled until you have completed grade ten. This is to accomodate students for the reserves training cycle.  It only applies to the Primary reserve.  You still need to bring in what transcripts that you have and it is suggested that you bring in a letter from your guidance office/school etc indicating that unless something goes wrong, you will get the 16 credits.

Good luck.

This is your only warning.

If you have posted a question and it has been answered - DO NOT POST IT AGAIN.

You can see that you have been asking the same question and getting the same advice.  Once is enough.
