Thousands break through border between Morocco and Spanish territory

Thousands of migrants streamed into the tiny Spanish territory of Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday, prompting local officials to call on Spain to declare a national emergency and send the army to restore the frontier.

Spain got a major issue on their hands. This could get larger and uglier.

Thousands of migrants streamed into the tiny Spanish territory of Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday, prompting local officials to call on Spain to declare a national emergency and send the army to restore the frontier.

“The situation is absolute chaos,” said Rachid Sbihi, head of the association that represents Spain’s Civil Guard officers in Ceuta, who police the border. “It’s not possible to give precise numbers, but there are thousands of migrants crossing,” he said, adding that the border had “totally collapsed.”

Video footage showed crowds of people, mainly Moroccans, walking around the breakwaters at Tarajal beach onto local roads. While the majority appeared to be young men, there were also families with women and children. “Viva España!” some shouted to a freelance photographer working for The Associated Press. It was not immediately clear what prompted so many migrants to cross to Ceuta.

Ceuta authorities had previously linked the spike to a Spanish Supreme Court decision earlier this month that migrants who arrive by sea cannot be immediately pushed back across the border without due process, unlike those who cross into Spain by land — by climbing over the border fence, for example.

The scenes of people streaming across the frontier recall the border crisis of May 2021 when more than 8,000 migrants poured into Ceuta in just two days.

Morocco hasn't given up on getting that part of the world back from Spain, either, which is why the Spanish Foreign Legion tends to hang out there alot... or so I've heard ;)

Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), declared that Moroccans have not forgotten Ceuta and Melilla, stating that their recovery remains a legitimate national right.

Speaking at a rally in Fez commemorating the 82nd anniversary of Morocco’s independence manifesto submission, Benkirane said this position does not call for war with Spain.

“We are still required to work diligently for the return of Ceuta and Melilla to the homeland,” Benkirane stated. He argued it is illogical for two African cities located on the borders of Tetouan and Nador to remain outside Moroccan sovereignty within a clear historical and sovereign context.

I had read somewhere that this was considered to be the result of some new Spanish Gov's immigration policy...

I feel bad for Spain and Europe. Their cultures will have a hard time recovering from whats been done to them by leftists and progressives.

NA needs to look at these things of examples of how not to handle immigration and assimilation. We needed not follow in these footsteps.

This is what should be happening right now:


As far as I'm concerned, this is casus belli for Spain and the EU to launch a military operation against Morocco. If Morocco cannot control its border, it needs to be done for them, by force.

Morocco is simply invading, this is the same Country that maintains the largest mine field and set of defensive fortifications in the World, with 120,000 soldiers deployed to guard it.
 
All Fighting Age Males is what I understand this migration is made of. That’s an invasion

Another strategic strait, in addition to a couple in the ME that are in the news alot these days, dominated by another unethically motivated Islamic regime could put a pretty good chokehold on international trade....

The population of Ceuta is around 83.5k according the google. News reports are saying 60k illegally entered yesterday. That's basically a 1 to 1 ratio of illegals vs citizens. Of those 60k illegals, dollars to donuts its 98% males and in the 98% males, its 90% of them between the ages of 18-45.
If I was a Spanish father with my wife, son (20) and daughter (18) living there, wouldn't matter if all 4 of us were armed with both long guns and hand weapons, I'd be abandoning my house right now and on a boat back to the mainland Spain.

How the F*ck is Spain going to get 20k+ soldiers into that area to deal with the 60k in illegals before this blows up further.

Morocco is 100% guilty at allowing this to happen. There is NO way that they would have allowed 60K illegals to mass on their border with Spain without knowing full well what was going to happen. Whatever 2 way communication existed between the local Spanish border authorities and their Moroccan counterparts broken down completely.

Replay of the conquest of North Africa followed by Spain around 700 That lasted 700 years, not good. We will soon find out how good Article 5 is I guess. But will the USA help after Spain refused them the use of their airports? Will we According to what I have read re: Islam once a land is occupied by Islam it is always considered Islamic regardless of current leadership and they controlled Spain for a long time.
