Anyone here going this year? Or gone in the past?

I might ride out there this year, but not sure I like the look of the ride from Calgary to South Dakota....California coastline is a bit more appealing.

I've been dreaming of warmer weather and found your old post. I hope you found someone to ride with.
If you are going to Sturgis (again?) in 2008 you may want to check out the CAV.  I see from your profile that you are in Calgary so watch for the 3rd CAV activities.  Here is the link to their site:

The Canadian Army Vets is a great bunch to ride with and they are planning a big trip down to Sturgis for 2008.  I know it's not the time frame you were asking about but thought I'd add the info anyways, just in case.

Look at the Ypres Events Board at the CAV site as our fearless leader has most of this years upcoming rides posted. Also there are some national rides such as Sturgis planned. Done early so hotels can be booked instead of sleeping on the ground.

  Nice to see some CAV riders here. 2 CAV will be sending some riders to Sturgis. I for one will be planning on going. If your out east 2 CAV is having a poker run around the lakes on 21 Jul 07. PM me if you want info.

you doing the Kenora Run ? I have planned on doing that run rather than Sturgis but if I win my battle with VAC I just may do both. Nice to see some CAV here as well.

  Most of the crew is going to try and do the Kenora run, the Airborne reunion and then head south for the Sturgis rally. Anyone else here CAV?

  On your battle with VAC, PM me if you need a hand, my friend is the MVA. I can call him if you are being jerked around.
