Hi.

Here's my question. I remember six months or so ago I came across a web page with links to different summer jobs available in the Canadian armed forces for college students and I can't find it back now. Can anyone help me out at all? I'm finishing up my second year of electrical engineering at an American college and am interested in the possibility of working for the army next summer.

Thanks.

I'm not sure of the exact page you are talking about, but try this link and it should be a good starting point:

http://www.recruiting.dnd.ca/engraph/home/index_e.aspx

On the bar on the left there is a menu for civilian jobs and there may be something there that piques your interest.  Best of luck.

That's a start. Thanks.

I did remember a specific site that listed things though. Anyone else?

TIA

What you're probably thinking is the Reserves, if you take a look around this site you'll find plenty of information on the different jobs availible there.

In essence, you work full time during the summer, and one night a week and minimum one weekend a month during the year.

Thanks for the help. I guess that won't work out too well as I'm attending college in the US.

Thanks.
