Switch from Reserve to Regular

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster

I currently am waiting to be sworn in at my local reserve unit here in BC, but I would like to know how long I can expect the switch to take if I decide to join the reg forces (For before BMQ; and then before BMQ and also before swearing in)

Could my local regiment CO swear me in to the Regular forces, or would that just apply to the reserves here?

Also, when could I expect to leave for my BMQ, and where would I go as a regular?

You've been recruited for a Reserve unit and that unit will swear you in as a Reserve soldier.  Component Transfer is a separate process.  Your situation is not special or different, please search on Component Transfer to learn more about what you need to do once you are a Reservist to transfer to the Regular Force.  Most of your other questions are trade specific (i.e., how long it might take, where you might be trained) and likely also addressed in existing relevant threads.
