Ok,what started off with a post going in the wrong place and for the wrong reason ballooned into one off the best taking-de-piss sessions I have had in a very,very long time. But you must admit, it was the most active post in the forum for years.LOL.

The truth.

I have been a member of the forum for quite a time but forgot my log-on details so I re-registered ,someone guessed that early on in the fast exchanges but I ignored it. Mike sent me a forum challenge coin a long time ago.

Had beyond_the_gap asked me in his original answer to my post " where did that come from?" I would have told him quite honestly from the Book "Flying Maggie's Drawers" and that it was worth buying.

However, it was the way he asked that got me thinking on doing a wind-up, and the fact that some guys I know are serving in Cyprus with the UN and had said the Canadians there had no sense of humour. I was going to blow the whistle earlier on and tell you all I was pulling your chains but the PM's flooding in made me decide just to keep it going.

Oh yeah,I realy am ex Corps and ex Queens Own of C. And why I rightly stated Airborne Forces and not CAR.

I posted the question about anyone serving in TO because I wanted them to ask about my order from the kit shop. The Association is drawing a blank as they have no direct access to online orders. It seems Regiment know there are problems with the shop and are trying to sort it .However,if someone could walk in and chase it up for me that would have been better.

Although I don't believe this current account about your trying to lead us all on for a bit of a laugh, I will give you the benifit of the doubt.  However, that does NOT explain th photos that you threw in the gallery.  If you're looking for what explanation is required just take a look at the super thread.  There are way too many questions there for me to transpose here.

The ball is in your court to prove yourself. A full apology might be in order, quite a few people on rumration and on arrse are pretty p*ssed off at you, and seeing as you have posted photos of under-18's, most likely without permission, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if you have got yourself into some trouble.

Some points tho:

1. No Canadians in Cyprus.
2. Flying Maggie's Drawers is a book about B-24 bombers.
3. My very first response to your thread was 'where did that come from'.

Booty, you should get out more.

You should also tell members here, whether the photographs of minors that you have posted, are published with the permission of the minors' parents or legal guardians? If so, you should state the basis of this permission. As a parent, I would be very worried that photographs could be published by someone of your mindset, without me knowing.

Not so much a wind-up Booty, more a worrying insight, into how troubled people get access to young people for their own show-boating.

The "explanation" has as many holes in it as the original post.  Even on the remotest, slimmest, most unlikely event that he does establish his credentials, I don't think he'll get much sympathy.

And the truth apparently comes out.. at this point I am inclined to think, and it have not been proven otherwise to myself, or others on this forum that it's more a case of half truths and full on lies. I would take the advice earlier posted and move along, as your input here is no longer going to hold any weight in any reguard on this forum. A landslide has more hold than you, at this point.

This whole thing reminds me of the tales you hear from fisherman and hunters, the fish that gets bigger everytime the story is told, and with hunters all the twists and turns about ellusive the hunt was, even though in reality it was a buck in an open clearing, that said person just happened to stumble upon while trampling through the bush like an idiot.
