Hum..the video..great message, i'll give it that.  Yes sign an internet petition, terorists will change their ways as a result.  Bombing the shit out of them and arresting hundreds of them hasnt done the trick but a petition will do it.

No, in fact they are inherently different from cadets, and it is not hard to see the differences. While cadets perhaps are taught to use pellet guns or what have you, they are not taught military tactics (to my knowledge...) or indoctrinated into the ideals of fundamentalism and martyrdom. You can try to compare all you wish, but in the end, they are separate entities. Cadets (or even military personnel in general) are not subjected to the rigours of giving their lives for a religious cause, being promised their slaughter of the supposed enemy will bring them eternal happiness.

The Canadian government to my knowledge has not offered 72 virgins to the cadet who kills himself for almighty Martin.
