This is a bigger ting than you would think. A lot of junior teams as well as some AHL teams do the same thing this time of year.

I was impressed just watching all those bears thrown onto the ice.

Certainly is an awesome sight.

There's a more comical video running around showing hundreds of "marital aids" being thrown onto the ice during a game somewhere in Scandinavia. Apparently it was done as a slam against some player who was involved in some embarrassing situation, and the opposing fans decided to send him a tribute.

I was in Grande Prairie for a Junior A game where the bears were tossed at the opposing team. Funny but kind of unwise.

Just had the teddy bear toss at the Peterborough Petes game tonight.  I think most if not all junior teams do it.

When I first saw this, I thought it was about the worst temper tantrums of the year, lol...I've seen these in Kingston on a number of occasions.
