Grad rockets fired at Be'er Sheva killing one and injuring ten
30 rockets were fired at Israel on Saturday; some were intercepted by Iron Dome

A salvo of Grad rockets was launched at the populated city of Be'er Sheva killing one person and injuring ten more, three of them severely. The injured were evacuated to a near by hospital.
Earlier on Saturday (August 20), 30 Grad and Qassam rockets and mortar shells were launched at communities in southern Israel endangering the lives of innocent Israeli civilians.
In response, IAF aircrafts attacked a cell of terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip a few minutes after mortar shells were fired at Israeli territory. Direct hits were confirmed.
The IDF will not tolerate any malicious attempts to harm Israeli civilians and the lives of Israeli soldiers, and will continue to operate forcefully against any terrorist operators acting against Israel. The Hamas terrorist organization is held responsible for these attacks.
The Home Front Command instructed the Be'er Sehva residents to remain by safety areas to be entered as soon as an alarm or crash is heard. The residents are asked to avoid areas where rockets hit. Residents of nearby communities asked to remain near safety areas as well.
