Hi Everyone,

I am new to the board but have been reading posts and doing searches for sometime now.I have found everyones posts very informing and helpful in regards to joining the CF.
I have completeed all the tests and am now on the merit list for infantry(031).I‘m waiting for that call like many others, its been around 8 months since i started the process.
Thanks to everyone who has posted the very useful information and hope to meet some of you in the near future.

Until you complete your profile and prove you have some knowledge of what your talking about, I don‘t think you should be giving advise. And for the rest of the users, I don‘t think you should be listening to it.

recceguy, please read my previous posts... You‘ll notice I‘ve just gone through the whole recruiting process, that doesn‘t make me an expert on the subject, however I do think it allows me to give trivial advice such as this.

As for my profile being empty, read my other post on the other thread you knocked me down on, I do have a valid reason. Also if you read my previous posts I have provide alot of information about my self, which would not be the case if I had something to hide.

Also being an adult AND moderator of this forum, please bring up any problem you have with me in private, do not slander me at every occasion you get.

are you guys talking reg or reserve? Im Just woundering how much longer I should expect to wate. Im going for Reserves and am woundering if the waiteing time is shorter.

I am entering regs......i have no idea about the wait for reserves so i can‘t help you there.

With joining the reserves, once all the processing is complete, your file is sent to the unit for final review and enrolment. At this point the recruiting centre is done with the file.

Reg F files merit listed and applicants wait for a job offer.
