I hope this is the right place to post this. None of the other categories covered this.
I would like to thank the anonymous army medic in downtown Vancouver, BC who found my unconscious and nearly dead brother this week who picked him up and carried him to St. Paul's Hospital emergency department. My brother was stabbed several times and almost bled out trying to get to the hospital on his own. No one else tried to help him or get assistance. Maybe they thought not to get involved because he was "just another addict". Today is Thanksgiving and thanks to a Canadian Forces army medic's compassion, my brother is alive and I have another reason to be thankful for the good people in the world. God Bless you and your family and thank-you.
