Hey guys,

I am currently finishing up the Academic Questionnaire part of the application.
I was wondering how detailed I should go into the question that states "Please explain your reason/s for wanting to attend the Royal Military College of Canada."

Besides the obvious reasons why I want to join, should I restate all the things that was previously mentioned in the questionnaire.
i.e. My volunteer work, my job, academics, and my physically ability.

I am just not sure how detailed the response should be.

Thanks,
Alex

The only obvious reasons that I can think of would be a free education, I get paid while going to school and I have a guaranteed job when I graduate.  So put those three reasons aside and then think about why you really want to attend RMC?  You could probably attend any other civilian university but the question is "Why RMC?"

It's an application, so the amount of detail is entirely up to you.  Generally, the more detailed, the better......

Hey there.

Put as much detail as you can. The selection process is can at times be tedious, and more details can never hurt. List your accomplishments, no matter how meager. They want to see what sets you apart from another applicant who is waiting for a spot.

Remember, the question is 'WHY'. What is driving you to join the Forces. 'WHY' RMC? Use your obvious reasons and explain in detail each reason. Just tell the truth, thats what they're looking for.
