The Bag and certain pitfalls

As my quote says "I will never be too old for a slumber party" or much else for that matter!!

And that's how it began kids;
between your grandparents,
Paracowboy and Armyvern.....

Oh to see your offspring!

I don't feel comfortable adding to this discussion...So I won't...

...Except to say that I wore trackpants in the bag...

Well I actually wear big flannel jammies (with cows on them) in The Bag!! I have 4 sets all in different colours!! They keep me snuggly warm. Being a Sup Tech I had the honour of being able to throw a little "extra kit"  ;D into the back of my old haunt 21F in Petawawa. The troops there will, no doubt, remember me and my jammies. My husband was in 3Cdo and would, quite often, after a night at the Kyrenia Club/Roma etc come home to announce that so and so and so and so were "invited" to breakfast the next morning (sometimes they just showed up) so that they could have some real food instead of shack food and they really appreciated me and my cows. I remember this one Brigade EX and 3cdo was being our Enemy Force...well in they came...I was 'in the Bag'...very very tactical I must say (Hey it was Feb but I was warm!!- and a Pte). All I remember hearing was there's Ronnie...the cows had given my exact posn away...boy did I ever get some special treatment then...Thank God for Umpires!!

Well, I must come by it honestly at least then. It was my grandmother who told me (at the age of 15) that I should never ever date anyone with a stick shift because it would just get in the way!! I thought she was pretty cool then....  ;D

Female locker room chat would be another good thread!! I guarantee it blows boys locker room chat right out of the water..... gee the troops in Pet couldn't handle it when a certain other female and I got together for a little conversation or two out in the field...they'd be cracking up. Heard lots of comments about how bad and unbelievable we were!! Funny thing is...our tales weren't of the "tall" type...usually just discussions of our respective niners (we are both also maroon t-shirt qualified BTW).

Life is short...have fun. You know...you can look at all the toys...just don't play with them. A sense of humor is a very good thing!! Makes the time go by much faster!!  ;D

Paras got an excellent sense of humour. Wonderful!! I wouldn't want to be on Ex with him...I snort when I laugh and I have the feeling I'd be laughing all the time....that'd be just as tactical as my cows!
