The biggest issue facing Quebec is the state of their infrastructure, not Afghanistan, of course nobody wants to talk about that, as most of the parties have been involved in ignoring or contributing to the problem.

There's a fair bit of that going around in Alberta too. ;D

Well at least you don't have overpass collasping, stadiums shedding concrete and subways sagging to name a few problems. Actually the amount of new infastructure being built in BC and Alberta is staggering, I get to approve most of the new bridges and dams in BC.

I will agree with that, last night on the news this year's rounds of delayed school openings have been started to announced. Add in the fact the Board of Education trades people wages are now out stripped by thirty to fifty percent by the private sector. But in many cases it mirrors what we have been discussing in the Retention thread. Too many people have had jobs for life, grown complacent and now their well constructed niche has come tumbling down. I think because they have been so secure in the niche that the have reused to pay attention to such things as the Ruxted articles, journal articles etc. Though I hate to admit it there is the occasional well written letter to the editor in MSM or good piece of reporting. Afterall, maybe the emperor really does have no clothes on and the people are realising it and this in the penalty we are paying for it.
