6-9 months time is a mere blip in governing a country or running a major corporation. The statement 'Rome was not built in a day' was true over 2,000yrs ago and is still true today. It is ALL about preparing the field, laying the ground work, building the foundation, etc, etc, etc.

We talk about about the short sightedness of the "West" and how China plays the long long game of decades, centuries but here we are 7 months into a new government and we are saying, 'he's not doing enough", "I don't see any difference". We can't suck and blow at the same time - a phrase that is used alot on here.

On another note - something that I believe will lead to some positive news -

It was more of a comment on the previous PM, than the current PM.

"Canadians" took back their flag from evil truckers and now they're excited to get rid of firearms while seeing themselves become insurgents living in the mountains fighting US invaders with HME and traps.

And now the "elbows up" lot want the f35 cancelled in its entirety.

A disarmed population is a vulnerable population. And this is why the US citizenry zealously protect their 2nd Amendment rights.
 
Got to be honest,I don’t know anybody who is going to comply, and most people I know have made arrangements to ensure that nothing that they still own will be confiscated. I’m sure most gun owners are same. Also, I hear SKS sales are going to the moon. This kind of tells me that people are preparing to be somewhat defiant.

That's what happens when you let one province decide policy for the country. I'm glad to see the rest seem to be defiant against this.

If Quebec wants this then let Quebec do it. But leave the rest of us alone.

Honestly it’s the urban centers across your country.

Quebec government wants it due to memories of Natives and the FLQ, being able to get support due to Marc Lepine memories in the public is a bonus for them.
