I was being nice. I was a reenactor with a local museum I still help out and I unknowingly leaned on the barrel of the 6pdr. The man who owns the museum is gunner all the way and he let in be known in no uncertain terms, firmly but poilitely like Dav would that one does not lean on the barrel. Got an earful and a history lesson that day. By the way my Reg‘t was the Royal Rifles of Canada.
