“We Embrace Ambiguity – Mediocrity – Sarcasm. These are our watch-words”

I read that and said to myself quietly: These are my people…

When I was working at ADM(MAT), a long time ago, I would regularly have meet with a group of Capts who were working at DLR.  They were called the Bitter and Twisted Capts Club and the descriptions of the people belonging to this league fits them to a T, with the exception that these guys actually strove for excellence.  They constantly toiled and worked under pressure to define requirements for one project after another without fanfare and glory.

As far as I know some of them are still there, a few of them are even Majs now and I think one eventually got promoted to LCol.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face.

Cheers
