I feel stupid in asking this but I am being posted soon, I am trying to register with Brookfield.  I have looked and searched for a TIN number in my posting message but I am not sure if it is the cost move number or not.  If it isn't how do I obtain one.  I am heading to my BOR to ask tomorrow but I thought maybe some kind person would help educate me plus I want to get everything in Order before my cs date etc.

Thanks

Your TIN is not in your posting message.

It's an identification number used by the contractor (HRG) to book all of our flights and make other travel arrangements.  You have to apply separately for a TIN as it is not directly related to Brookfield (although they use it).  You need one for all government related travel (including HHTs).  Your posting message does have instructions on how to get one; however, when Brookfield makes its initial contact with you (after you've registered with them) they will also send you instructions via email.  You do not need it in order to register with Brookfield and it can wait until it's almost time for flights to be arranged.  No need to panic, once you have the link that Brookfield will send you, you will get your TIN literally as fast as you can complete the on-line form.
