How long does it take to get a transfer?

Depends.  I was talking with DMCA 5-5 a couple of months ago about this - they were running about 4 months in arrears in terms of actioning outstanding CTs.  Not sure who long the process is taking once someone starts looking at it, but there aren't many people staffing that office.

If you are already qualified in your MOC and are staying in that MOC in the reg force it usually goes pretty quick as they dont have to do much, its just an administrative transfer.  If you are changing MOCs or commissioning ect... then in some cases it can take as long as a year.
