transferring from reserves (armoured soldier) to reg force (infantry)....help

my question is...i would like to know if it is possible to transfer from the armoured soldier reserves to infantry reg force easily. the city i live in only has armoured soldier for a choice and if i really enjoy the army i would like to go infantry full time.
any and all help regarding this is GREATLY appreciated.

Of corse it is possible to transfer but it might take a bit longer since you will be doing a remuster too or it might go smoothly it‘s not really possible to give you an exact timeframe for a transfer.

would it be better to do it within the first say 6 months or would i be better off getting some of the armoured soldier courses under my belt?

First you will have to do your BMQ and SQ. Then you‘ll have to wait a year to get on your QL3 course which is your trade course. If you don‘t want to wait about 2 years to experience what‘s it like to be trained armoured crewman then I suggest to apply directly to reg force.

Mike, for the most part it depends on how fast your unit will go through the paper work and the speed the receiver decides to give it.

As well, it also depends on if there is a hiring freeze or what not.

I‘ve heard of it taking as little as three months and some are still waiting in my battery (over a year...)
