For those of you with time on your hands:

The Pan Canadian Day of Action is March 17 please contact [email protected] for more information. It seems their posters are coming down as fast as they have been putting them up. Took me quite a while to find one, so those of you can now provide information etc. :sniper:

hey brother,

I am totally uninformed about this group. Can you please expand on their agenda, website etc? The link you provide is for an email initially..........

Cheers,

HH

These people are part of the No War/Paix http://www.nowar-paix.ca/ and the Canadian Peace
Alliance http://www.acp-cpa.ca/en/M172007.htm groups along with many union and NDPers.
Personally I don't agree with them and think they have been brainwashed or did have any to brainwash in the first place, but some may argue they have a right to protest. They suggest they are a big movement but can only get about 200 people out (there was ten times that many in support of the troops on the Hill) My biggest beef is that last year they used the National Peacekeeping Monument as their stage to protest. I stayed away as I don't get along well with these people especially when they are disrespecting me and all others who have served. I hope they don't do the same again this go round on St Paddy's day, in Ottawa they will end up there again... maybe I will show up

You shouldn't worry about these guys. Like alfie pointed out they can't produce the crowds like "support the troops" rallies do. They are a minority's minority and pose no real threat to anyone or the monuments. Last year's rally in Ottawa saw them go from the peacekeeping monument up wellington, passed the national war memorial, and at both sites the police presents was very heavy. They did not let them step foot on the monuments. Not that I was there or anything... :-X

Just wait for the CBC,s account of the rally. There where 1,2, 3...no, there where 10,000 protesters today at..................
