I put the same thing on the Iran thread when it was posted earlier by @HavokFour

Actually while somewhat basic, he didn’t so badly, and I think is one of his better comments of late.

He isolated Medvedev’s comments from Putin. Giving the opportunity to give Putin an off ramp, while also calling out the threat and pointing out that we in the US have a much bigger stick that is available.

Putin is left with either getting into it with POTUS directly, or cutting Medvedev off at the knees on his constant nuclear Sabre rattling.

Putin probably doesn’t want to push POTUS right now as the easiest thing for POTUS to do is help Ukraine stick something deeper into Russias eye.


It really isn't a bad response considering all the potential responses from DJT when he gets to typing away.

Yes. Nonetheless he was in custody and therefore the responsibility of the state to keep safe. We don’t have the facts of his death; it absolutely needs to be fully and objectively investigated. Every in-custody death does.
