Trump administration 2024-2028

“ For decades, we [Americans] have told ourselves that our country represents democracy, freedom, and free trade. We believed we had allies, like-minded nations that shared these values. We thought we opposed dictators and kleptocrats, the leaders who steal from their own people. What happens when we realize that we no longer do?”

Thomas Massie pushes surprise impeachment vote of Pete Hegseth

House Democrats were privately dreading a politically charged — but purely symbolic — vote on impeaching President Donald Trump triggered by one of their own members.

Then came something unexpected.

Just hours before that vote, GOP Rep. Thomas Massie surprised his colleagues with a push to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a stunning act of intraparty warfare that deepens the rogue congressman’s rift with Trump and GOP leaders.

Well, this is going to get interesting.

We'll have to wait.

Bold choice with the likelihood of the House going to the Dems, and the possibility of Senate too.

Hmmmm, putting this forward as a possible shield to any attempt to impeach Trump. Throw Hegseth under the bus and to the baying crowds with the hopes that his blood satisfies them and they don't need to call for Trump's?

Maybe if it's just the House the dems take in November. If they somehow also manage the Senate as well all bets are off, can't rule out complete open season.

And up she goes, to the surprise of possibly just one person.

3.9% and with a second hike later this year to 4.1%.

Can't tell anymore if he genuinely doesn't understand what a deficit is in terms of trade, or is just being ignorant for the sake of it.
