Hi, I was recently issued my kit, and I was wondering how to properly wear everything. Are you supposed to cut an opening in your beret to insert your cap brass? Also, how do you properly form a beret? I‘ve heard some people take the liner out, is this recommended? Also, what about blousing your pants, how is that done effectively? Thanks for all your help.

The descriptions for wearing of all the kit you asked about would be too long winded, and wouldn‘t make sense in a text format. Once you show up at your unit or on course, the first thing they will do is show you how to wear the uniform, and correct any errors. It‘s all coming, just wait for it.

reminds me of my basic course where we had a study booklet about maps we had to go over in our own time (what little we had), when it was once taught in class
