Went to see the movie United 93 tonight at Silver City. Crowd was very sparse, even though it was expected to be a sell out. There were a few protesters, but they were polite and somewhat subdued looking. All were women with habibs.

Go and see this show on the big screen. Words alone do not do this film justice.

They were discussing this movie on talk radio, on the way home from work yesterday. Everyone who saw it said it was powerful and moving

I saw the movie yesterday and thought that it was really good. It's no wonder all the critics rate it so high. I can't even imagine why there would be protesters. The film doesn't seem remotely political. From what I've heard most of the families of those who died have said it was a good tribute. I thought it was just a pretty neutral presentation of the facts of what happened or what could have happened based on the evidence. What exactly are the protesters protesting? I hadn't heard about that.

Everyone should go see the movie.

I actually saw this movie on TV a while back (a couple of months ago).  Great movie...very interesting to say the least.  I would have paid money to see it, but seeing as it was on TV before it hit theaters...

You must be thinking of "flight 93" that was on A and E.  This "united 93" is a different movie (of the same event, naturally).

oh, nevermind then.  I assumed it was the same movie.  Same sort of idea none the less I am sure.  It was a good watch and I am assuming the movie in the theaters will be relativly the same then.

I watched "Flight 93" on A&E this morning and i will head out to see "United 93" as soon as i can.  I have read about the controversy around the new movie but i also watched allot of interviews with family members who supported its production and want their story told.

"Flight 93" reaffirmed my conviction to take the fight to enemy    :threat:
