Thank god for UN watch, trying their best to hold them to account. I don't think much of the UN, there are some dusty programs out of the limelight that do good but aren't sexy enough to get noticed or exploited. I suspect the biggest benefit is to allow nations that hate each other a way to communicate and talk outside of the public eye.
