Luckily that article speaks in generalities about the fact that there is such a thing as Rules for the Use of Force rather than actually spell out what they are (as an aside Rules of Engagement are for overseas "military" operations while RUF apply to domestic ops in the US). It's never a wise thing to make specific RUFs public.  There's a general directive on the Use of Force within the US in DoD Directive 52.10.56 which can be found here:
