Updating medical while on Merit list?

It's coming up 2 years since I did my medical test (April 2013) and was told a few months ago that I would need to redo the entire medical test if I reach the 2 year mark. I did the update one after a year of the original one, but that's when my application was still processing.

Does anyone know if I'll have to re-do my medical while im on the merit list once April comes around? (If I'm not offered a position by then)

Medicals, Interviews and for the most part, Background Checks, are only VALID for 12 months.
