Ok so basically im waiting for the Canadian Forces to process my Application, but in that time I will be going to school for the next 8 months to get my Highschool recognized. Now if they have not contacted me within that time I will move to the United States and join the Army as a Resident Alien, then Ill try and get a Citizenship. If it is possible I would like to join the Marines but I dont think it can be done unless im a Citizen, am I correct?
Anyway I just wanted to let you all know of my plans, anyone want to comment on my plans?

you are aware of how hard it is to become a resident alien right? You cant just move there. I dont think you've really looked at it at all. I suggest you do some reading.

Going back to school is a great idea, especially if you need to get your diploma recognized.

My sources tell me that the CF is taking anywhere from 12 to 24 months to process applications due to a bottle neck in the part 2 and 3 medicals as well as background checks.  If it is sooner, then the better.

In order to join any branch of US Armed Services, you need to obtain a permanent alien resident card.  All of this has been explained in great detail in other threads on this board.  Do a search and find the info as it will be useful to you.  The only requirement for US citizenship lies in becoming a commissioned officer.

Good luck.
