I am currently looking for information on US military fitness evaluations.  I am interested in basic requirements as well as any specialty tests (ex: USMC, Navy Seal, Army Rangers, etc.).

Any help would be appreciated

This is the easiest thing to find...  There is so much information on the internet a quick google search will get you everything.  Here's a couple that took me 5 seconds to find on google.. Every other PT test and program for USSF, CCT, TACP, BUDs/SEAL, MARSOC, etc is all on the internet. I would assume you can find the British and Australian stuff on the net too, like on the official Austrialian and British Army, Navy, etc websites.

Yes I can use Google like yourself.  I am looking for the whole picture and want to see what comes out of it.  Thank you for taking the time to reply

What do you mean the whole picture?  If you are looking for tests like you state then you can google and find every PT test in the US Military as well as different PT prep guides for SOF indoc/courses, etc  What else do you want that apparently you can't find on google search?

Guidance.  I can google search like you can.  What I don't know are all the different elements of the US military that have a different tests.  The standard tests are easy to find.  Sometimes there is differences on specifics depending on the source and how up to date it is.  For some specialty tests i've searched, it is hard to tell the difference between official fitness tests or parts of the selection course.  I'm just looking for any help info to narrow down my searches and perhaps enlighten me on test that I may not be aware of or come across during standard google searches.

Well, just a thought, but why don't you go straight to the source?

The recruiting websites, etc are also a good source of info and you can contact them as well. For the different tests out there, etc look up or ask about these ones.  - I'm sure theres more, this is all I could think up quickly.

US Army
-Rangers, Special Forces.  I think for the schools like Airborne, Air Assualt, Sniper, etc you just have to pass the APFT.  For the Rangers and SF, I think they have their own PT tests as part of the indoc/selection proces as well as needing to score XXX amount of points on the APFT, once they are in the Ranger Regiment or SF Groups I have no idea if they just use the APFT or have a specific PT test.  www.armyranger.com is a site run by a former Ranger and has lots of current and former rangers on it, lot of info there.

USMC
-Recon, Force Recon, MARSOC, Scout/Sniper

US Air Force
-TACP, Combat Controller, Para Jumper

US Navy
-SEALs, SWCC

Just what exactly are you looking for?  You have asked the requirements for the Australian Army, the British Army and the American army.  Are you trying to compare the various armies fitness tests?

It's a good chance he is... Why? I don't know because everyone has different standards. It doesn't mean that one army is less effective than other; and we all know that the CF has the best army around  8)

I am comparing the various fitness evaluations used by others to those used with the CF.  I'm also comparing standards. I'm definitely not looking to export myself or conclude that one military is better than another based simply on fitness tests.  It would be naive to do so.

Here are the scores required to pass the APFT.
