USMC Pilot Lands Aircraft W/O Nose Gear

Pretty amazing video of a USMC Harrier landing without nose gear.Skill and some luck.

Sick skills. What struck me though was how narrow the stool was that the nose was supposed to land on. If it were 3-4 ft wider on either side, wouldn't that give the pilot a little more margin left/right for an "un-perfect" landing... or are those USMC aviators just that good?

He couldnt have made the landing without the ground guide IMO.They saved the taxpayer some bucks thats for sure.

He was being ground-guided for sure and no doubt this is something they train for. But still, could have ended a whole lot worse than it did. Great bar story...
