@ 00:16, look to the bottom of the helicopter, notice the solider who gets thrown out; it looks like he might have done a dance with the wheel... I wonder if he was injured and the wings must have just missed him.

Helicopter Accident - Posted in 2006'

This is a Turbine Enstrom Helicopter on the Heli Pad of a Greenpeace ship some where off the coast of Ireland. One of the deck straps has not been released correctly, with what was very nearly disastrous consequence. Pilot skill and quick thinking saved the day.

I have seen videos of pilots fishing while hovering over a lake; just doesn't seem like a safe idea to me, but this is the first time I have seen someone use a RC Heli to catch a fish.

Columbia Helicopters Fire Fighting Helicopter - Pilot's View - Posted 2007'

The camera is mounted on a pilot's helmet, and has an audio link to the radio/intercom system on the helicopter. You will hear the pilots talking about lifting 4,000 pounds of water from the lake, and hear a fire fighter on the ground compliment the pilot on the accuracy of his drop. The massive bucket is slung 200-feet below the helicopter. This was taken on the Hawkin Fire near Reno, Nevada on July 19, 2007.

Can't say I'd try that...I'm not that good at it.  The EFB400 is the same size as my Honey Bee King 2..and that ePilot was a lot better than me!

  Question: It was explained how the Apache was given its name, but in general... why are army ac's so often named after Indian tribes?  Just curious.

The bubbles on either side of Isabelle's cockpit are interesting; there is a good view of them at 3:12.

At 1:44 it's Isabelle's turn and down she goes.  At 2:12, it looks like they are both getting rid of the water they have on board 'and' picking up new water.  The first helicopter didn't do this... why would the second helicopter offload water on board from its holding tank(s) and pick up new water at the same time?  They are helping to put out fires; what would be the possible reasons why they wouldn't empty all of the water over the applicable area; if a malfunction, then picking up more water doesn't completely fit and they wouldn't need to go back to the water source to offload the water on board.  Thoughts?

Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane sucks up a Buoy

This was shot during the Bosque fire of 2005 in Albuquerque New Mexico. I am not sure if some part of the Buoy is sucked into the nozzle or just caught on the nozzle. Note the Kaman K-max in the background at the beginning of the clip.
